We initiated with a rapid workshop to understand Tuff Bucket’s brand design, user personas (industrial buyers, riggers, equipment managers), product categories (load-rated buckets, accessories, etc.), and existing sales and fulfillment processes.
We also studied their legacy website using available screenshots (highlighting key elements like “THE BETTER BUCKET” tagline and engineering specifications) to ensure design and brand continuity.
We selected Shopify for its robust eCommerce and order-management capabilities.
A custom Shopify theme was developed to closely match Tuff Bucket’s original design language — including the same color palette, typography, product imagery, and signature brand messages such as “Built to Rigging Standards” and “Made in the USA.”
Key brand elements such as engineering specification layouts, catalog links, and downloadable documentation were recreated for a familiar experience.
Products were structured to reflect industrial use cases — with detailed specifications, load ratings, dimensions, and accessory bundle options.
We configured a custom checkout flow optimized for industrial buyers, including bulk-quantity options, special shipping configurations, and invoicing capabilities.
Warranty registration and product documentation links were integrated directly into product pages.
Fulfillment workflows were set up end-to-end — from order notifications and tracking updates to stock visibility — ensuring that the internal team could manage and monitor the entire purchasing cycle efficiently.
We rigorously tested the full process: product browsing → specification review → cart → checkout → confirmation → fulfillment, refining each step for a seamless user experience.
We delivered a comprehensive training program for Tuff Bucket’s staff, covering Shopify admin management, product updates (SKUs, variants, images), order processing, refund handling, and customer communication best practices.
Training materials included a step-by-step slide deck and a quick-reference guide.
After launch, we conducted a follow-up session to review platform usage, resolve questions, and make minor optimizations for usability and workflow efficiency.
